Pheno Joy has been named Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Little Flower Hospital & Research Centre in Ernakulam, Kerala, bringing more than a decade of hospital management experience and expertise in healthcare operations, quality systems, and institutional development.

Sharing the update, Pheno Joy has stated, “I am grateful for this opportunity to contribute to an esteemed healthcare institution that has been spreading the fragrance of health for the last 9 decades.”

Joy brings extensive experience in hospital administration and healthcare operations to the role.

Before joining Little Flower Hospital, he served as Chief Operating Officer at P K DAS Institute of Medical Sciences in Palakkad.

Prior to that, he spent more than ten years as Hospital Administrator at MAJ Hospital in Kochi, where he was involved in managing hospital operations and supporting organizational growth.

Alongside his executive responsibilities, Joy continues to contribute to healthcare policy, standards, and education through several professional engagements.

He serves as an External Expert with the National Health Systems Resource Centre and is associated with ASAP Kerala as a Technical Expert for Hospital Administration Curriculum Development.

His academic background combines healthcare administration, management, and finance. Joy has completed the Senior Management Program in Healthcare from the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode, earned an MPhil in Management from PRIST University, obtained a Master's in Hospital Administration from Kovai Medical Centre and Hospital, and holds an MBA in Finance from Dr C. V. Raman University.

Located in Ernakulam, Little Flower Hospital & Research Centre, a 610-bed multi-speciality institution, is recognized for its contributions to training medical, paramedical, and nursing professionals.
