Ashoka Health City has been designed as an integrated healthcare facility that brings together advanced medical treatment, education, research, and patient-centric care under one campus.

Ashoka Healthcity and the Ashoka Women & Children Hospital have been unveiled in Nashik, aimed at enhancing access to advanced medical services across North Maharashtra.

Developed by the Ashoka Group in collaboration with HOSMAC, Ashoka Health City has been designed as an integrated healthcare facility that brings together advanced medical treatment, education, research, and patient-centric care under one campus. The project is intended to strengthen healthcare infrastructure in North Maharashtra while enabling patients to access super-speciality treatment closer to home.

Among the key addition includes the 115-bed Ashoka Women & Children Hospital, North Maharashtra’s first theme-based exclusive Women & Children Hospital.

The facility is intended to provide specialized healthcare for women, newborns, infants, and children under one roof.

The facility is designed to provide advanced pediatric, neonatal, and critical care services supported by advanced Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU), Pediatric Intensive Care Units (PICU), Pediatric Super Specialty, modern labour suites, modular operation theatres, advanced diagnostic facilities, vaccination services, developmental assessment clinics, and emergency pediatric care.

The hospital joins the existing healthcare facilities within Ashoka Health City, including Ashoka Medicover Hospital, a multi-specialty tertiary care hospital, and Ashoka CCA Hospital, a dedicated oncology centre. Both facilities were also planned and designed by HOSMAC as part of the broader healthcare campus.

Addressing the gathering, Birla noted that Ashoka Health City is serving not only Nashik but also the wider North Maharashtra region. Referring to the newly inaugurated Mother and Child Hospital, he emphasized the need for high-quality healthcare facilities dedicated to the well-being of mothers and children. He called for intensified efforts to reduce infant mortality in the country.

He further stated that better hospitals and quality healthcare facilities are essential for achieving this objective. He urged private institutions to expand healthcare services with a spirit of social responsibility and public service so that their benefits reach all sections of society

Expressing confidence in the project's long-term impact, Birla stated that Ashoka Health City has the potential to emerge as an important centre for the treatment of serious diseases and is expected to provide affordable, quality, and sustainable healthcare while also promoting medical research.

Commenting on the latest facility, Ashok Katariya, Chairman, Ashoka Group, said that Ashoka Health City represents a significant milestone in the Group’s journey towards creating a world-class healthcare ecosystem that combines advanced technology with compassionate and affordable patient care.

The latest facilities were inaugurated by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla in the presence of dignitaries, healthcare leaders, and representatives from the Ashoka Group and HOSMAC.
