Medcare Diagnostics, part of MedGenome’s integrated diagnostics ecosystem, has launched a new imaging and nuclear medicine centre in Navi Mumbai.
The expansion is intended to strengthen integrated diagnostic capabilities by combining imaging, nuclear medicine, and genomic diagnostics services within a broader clinical diagnostics framework.
The newly introduced centre is equipped with advanced medical technologies and equipment, including Superconducting 3T MRI, PET MRI Fusion, TOF PET CT, 4D Ultra Sonography, and 3D Bone Densitometry.
The facility is expected to support a wide range of imaging, radiology, nuclear medicine, and preventive diagnostic services.
Founded in 2012, Medcare is a leading Mumbai-based radiology and nuclear medicine company.
Currently, it operates four imaging centres across Mumbai, including Chembur, Goregaon, Andheri, and Navi Mumbai.
The latest development follows MedGenome's investment in Medcare Management Services to expand MedGenome’s integrated diagnostics footprint across western India and strengthen its multi-omics–driven care model.
Through the collaboration, the companies are working toward integrating genomic diagnostics, imaging, and pathology services into a broader precision diagnostics ecosystem.
By integrating MedGenome’s advanced capabilities in genomic diagnostics and Medcare’s expertise in imaging and nuclear medicine services, the initiative is expected to support comprehensive diagnostic services while enabling deeper clinical insights and precise clinical decision-making. ‘
The move aligns with MedGenome’s broader strategy to expand its footprint in the Mumbai metropolitan region.
In a parallel development, MedGenome made a majority investment in Siddhi Diagnostics & Research Centre (SDRC) to expand its diagnostics presence across Mumbai’s extended western suburbs, including Nalasopara, Vasai, Virar, and Thane.
The companies said the collaboration is aimed at broadening access to advanced integrated diagnostic services in the region. services across suburban areas in Mumbai.
