Kardi AI Launches AI-Powered Wearable ECG Monitoring Technology in India

Czech healthtech company Kardi AI has launched its AI-powered wearable ECG technology in India aimed at monitoring heart rhythms over extended periods.

The system combines a wearable ECG chest strap, mobile connectivity, and AI-supported ECG analysis for long-term heart rhythm monitoring.

Kardi AI is designed to extend the monitoring period while patients continue their normal daily activities. Patients wear a lightweight ECG chest strap. The recorded data is then transmitted through a mobile platform for AI-supported analysis.

The system assists physicians in reviewing ECG recordings and identifying potential rhythm abnormalities.

The company said its technology is designed to extend the observation period, potentially giving physicians more opportunities to identify intermittent abnormalities.

Kardi AI reported detection rates of up to 40% with its technology, compared with approximately 2–5% for conventional Holter monitoring.

The technology is intended to support physicians rather than replace clinical diagnosis or medical decision-making.

Kardi AI describes the product as prescription-grade medical technology rather than a consumer fitness device.

According to the company, its application provides preliminary AI-supported analysis, while the final diagnosis is made by a physician following appropriate clinical evaluation.

The technology was launched in Hyderabad by Dr Balakrishna, Joint Director, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India.

Furthermore, Hyderabad-based Eurasia Medical Technologies LLP is facilitating Kardi AI's India operations as its authorised representative.
