The acquisition marks Innovaccer’s fifth acquisition in the past two years and adds outsourced revenue cycle management (RCM), medical billing, and clinical staffing capabilities to the company’s Flow platform.
Innovaccer has acquired the assets of US-based CaduceusHealth to strengthen its AI-powered revenue cycle management capabilities and expand its healthcare operations platform.
The acquisition marks Innovaccer’s fifth acquisition in the past two years and adds outsourced revenue cycle management (RCM), medical billing, and clinical staffing capabilities to the company’s Flow platform.
With the integration, Innovaccer said its Flow platform will combine appointment scheduling, patient engagement, billing, and payment operations into a single AI-powered system designed for ambulatory healthcare providers.
Founded in 1997, CaduceusHealth provides RCM and billing services to nearly 4,000 healthcare providers across the United States and processes approximately $5 billion in patient charges annually.
Innovaccer said it plans to integrate CaduceusHealth’s three decades of operational data, including medical billing codes and localized insurance payer rules, into its AI systems to improve automation and reduce administrative inefficiencies.
According to the company, insurance claim denials and payment rejections cost US healthcare providers nearly $20 billion each year. Innovaccer said its platform is designed to address fragmented healthcare workflows by consolidating clinical, financial, and operational data into a unified cloud-based system.
The company stated that the acquisition will help automate denial management, improve billing accuracy, and optimize revenue collection processes using AI-driven workflows combined with human oversight.
“This acquisition represents a structural shift in how revenue cycle performance gets managed,” Innovaccer said in a statement, adding that the integrated platform is designed to anticipate claim denials, identify revenue gaps, and streamline payer management processes at scale.
Founded in 2014 by Abhinav Shashank, Kanav Hasija, and Sandeep Gupta, Innovaccer develops healthcare data and analytics platforms for providers, payers, and healthcare organizations.
Its Healthcare Intelligence Cloud integrates data from electronic health records, insurance claims, financial systems, and operational tools into a unified platform intended to support clinical decision-making and operational efficiency.
The acquisition further expands Innovaccer’s presence in the healthcare AI and automation market as providers increasingly invest in technologies aimed at reducing administrative costs and improving financial performance.
