Hyderabad’s AI Startup Partners with Mahesh Babu Foundation to Deploy AI-based Health Platform
The initiative plans to deploy BluHealth-enabled healthcare kiosks to facilitate contactless scans followed by consultations with local doctors or teleconsultations.
Hyderabad-based AI technology startup, Blue Cloud Softech Solutions, has partnered with Mahesh Babu Foundation to launch GMB Life, a preventive health and wellness application for community healthcare initiatives.
Powered by BluHealth, Blue Cloud’s AI-integrated healthcare platform, GMB Life seeks to provide contactless health screening through a short camera-based smartphone scan.
The partnership is aimed at expanding technology-enabled preventive healthcare, combining AI-based screening, community health camps, and local medical support to improve healthcare access in underserved communities.
Commenting on the initiative, Mahesh Babu, Founder, Mahesh Babu Foundation, said, "With Blue Cloud’s BluHealth technology, anyone with a smartphone can complete a short, contactless scan and receive indicative readings for heart rate, blood pressure, respiration rate, stress, and cardiac workload in under a minute, without a needle or device.”
“For a family with no clinic nearby, that is the difference between finding out early and finding out too late. With the healthcare kiosks we plan to open with local doctors, a warning sign on the app will have somewhere to go,” he added.
More on GMB Life
The AI-integrated app provides contactless screening featuring a short, camera-based scan on a standard smartphone intended to produce indicative readings for heart rate, respiration rate, blood pressure, heart rate variability, stress index, cardiac workload, body mass index, and vascular age, with no wearable or medical device required.
In addition, the Health Camp Connect feature provides information on upcoming Foundation health camps & wellness programmes, while its 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 feature is designed to provide accessible guidance on preventive health for the communities.
As part of the technology collaboration, Blue Cloud and the Foundation plan to deploy BluHealth-enabled healthcare kiosks at selected locations in subsequent phases.
These kiosks are expected to facilitate contactless scans followed by consultations with local doctors or tele-consultations.
Further, screening records will also connect with users’ GMB Life profiles to support follow-up and help the Foundation identify areas requiring greater healthcare outreach.
Sharing his thoughts, Tejesh Kumar Kodali, Group Chairman, Blue Cloud Softech Solutions, said, “GMB Life places the intelligence we have built into BluHealth in the hands of every family with a smartphone. The kiosks with local doctors are the next step, so that a screening on the app leads directly to a consultation in the community. Our ambition is simple: no child or parent in a village the Foundation touches should go unscreened for want of a doctor nearby.”
