Goel brings more than 20 years of leadership experience, including the last 11 years in the global medical technology sector.
Healthium Medtech has appointed Gaurav Goel as its Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, effective August 1, 2026. The appointment follows the elevation of Anish Bafna to the role of Non-Executive Chairman, as the medical technology company enters its next phase of global growth.
Goel brings more than 20 years of leadership experience, including the last 11 years in the global medical technology sector. Before joining Healthium, he served as Chief Commercial Officer at a global medical device company operating in more than 75 countries, where he led worldwide commercial operations and contributed to international expansion through organic growth and strategic acquisitions.
The leadership transition comes as Healthium continues to expand its international footprint. The company currently operates in nearly 100 countries and has broadened its product portfolio through acquisitions, including AbGel, CareNow, VitalCare, and most recently, Paramount Surgimed.
Commenting on his appointment, Goel said he was joining Healthium at an important stage in its growth journey and highlighted the company's foundation in innovation, clinical excellence, and global reach. He said the company is well positioned to pursue further innovation, expand its international presence, and explore strategic growth opportunities.
As Non-Executive Chairman, Bafna will continue to support Healthium's strategic direction while working closely with the leadership team.
Reflecting on the transition, Bafna said the past eight years had been a rewarding period for the company and expressed confidence in Goel's ability to lead Healthium through its next phase of growth. He cited Goel's global experience, strategic vision, and leadership as key strengths for driving the company's plans.
