Under the partnership, Novo Nordisk will use H1's AI capabilities to improve several aspects of clinical development, particularly study design, clinical trial site selection, and patient enrolment.

A US-based AI-powered healthcare intelligence platform, H1, has partnered with Novo Nordisk, a Denmark-based global healthcare company, to strengthen AI-driven clinical development by combining proprietary AI-ready healthcare data with intelligent workflows that improve the way clinical trials are designed and managed.

Under the partnership, Novo Nordisk will use H1's AI capabilities to improve several aspects of clinical development, particularly study design, clinical trial site selection, and patient enrolment.

By combining H1's healthcare intelligence platform with Novo Nordisk's digital research capabilities, the companies aim to reduce inefficiencies across clinical operations and support quicker decision-making throughout the drug development lifecycle.

The collaboration also includes H1 acquiring the rights to continue advancing StudyHub, Novo Nordisk's digital and AI-enabled platform designed to support clinical development activities.

The move is expected to expand the platform's capabilities while making AI-powered workflows more accessible across future research programs.

“In this age of AI, the way clinical trials should be executed needs to change,” said Ariel Katz, CEO of H1. “We are proud to partner with Novo Nordisk to enhance innovation in their clinical trials and to play an important part to bring their life-changing drugs to patients quicker.”

“H1 is the right partner for this work with its domain expertise, AI-ready proprietary data, and AI technology to advance what we have built at Novo Nordisk,” said Mishal Patel, Group Vice President, AI & Digital Innovation, R&D at Novo Nordisk.

“This next wave of AI will help us reduce cycle times, address process inefficiencies at scale, and fundamentally improve how we select clinical trial sites and design studies, ultimately enabling better, faster decisions across the development lifecycle.”

Founded in Denmark in 1923, Novo Nordisk is one of the world's leading healthcare companies, with a strong focus on diabetes and other chronic diseases.

The company has been expanding its use of AI and digital technologies across research and development to improve efficiency and support scientific innovation.

H1 is an AI-powered healthcare intelligence platform used by pharmaceutical companies, health plans, health systems, and technology organizations.

Built around its Doctor Graph dataset and global healthcare professional network, the platform provides AI-driven insights that support drug development, medical engagement, provider intelligence, and care navigation.
