Gujarat CM Lays Foundation for Menaba Rotary Multi-Speciality Hospital in Unjha

The Rotary Club of Unjha is developing the hospital as a community-focused initiative aimed at bringing advanced specialist and diagnostic care closer to North Gujarat’s rural and semi-urban populations.

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has laid the foundation stone for the Menaba Rotary Multi-Speciality Hospital in Unjha, a major healthcare project aimed at improving medical access for communities across North Gujarat.

Developed by the Rotary Club of Unjha, the hospital is envisioned as a modern multi-speciality facility offering a wide range of services, including advanced diagnostics, surgical care, maternal and child health, and emergency support.

Speaking at the foundation ceremony, CM Patel highlighted the government’s continued efforts to decentralize healthcare services across the state. “Our focus is to make quality healthcare accessible to every citizen, no matter where they live,” he said. “Facilities like the Menaba Rotary Multi-Speciality Hospital will play a crucial role in improving medical outcomes for communities in North Gujarat.”

The hospital aims to address existing gaps in specialist care in the region by providing departments across cardiology, orthopaedics, oncology, nephrology and general medicine.

With modern medical equipment and upgraded infrastructure, the facility is expected to significantly reduce the need for patients to travel long distances to major cities for treatment.

Representatives of the Rotary Club stated that the project reflects their long-standing commitment to community development and equitable healthcare.

Rotary officials noted that the hospital will serve not only Unjha but also neighbouring towns and villages, offering affordable healthcare solutions with a focus on accessibility and patient comfort.

The Menaba Rotary Multi-Speciality Hospital is expected to create new employment opportunities, attract specialist doctors to the region and strengthen the local healthcare infrastructure.

With the foundation stone laid, construction activities are set to begin soon, with the hospital positioned to become a key healthcare destination for North Gujarat in the coming years.
