NARI enables users to access round-the-clock breast health information and educational guidance irrespective of their location.
Dr P. Raghu Ram has created a Guinness World Record through an interactive AI Hologram-powered breast health awareness lecture while simultaneously launching NARI, an AI platform that provides round-the-clock breast health information in multiple Indian languages.
The initiative aims to improve access to reliable health education and encourage greater awareness of breast diseases, screening and early detection.
Dedicating the recognition to his late mother, Dr Ushalakshmi, a breast cancer survivor and gynaecologist, Dr Raghu Ram said, "Awareness, early detection and hope can save lives."
He added that the broader objective is to ensure equitable access to trustworthy breast health information through technology.
The Guinness World Record was awarded under a newly established category that recognises innovation in AI-enabled holographic health education.
During the event, an AI Hologram version of Dr Raghu Ram delivered a comprehensive lecture on breast health before engaging with participants through a multilingual question-and-answer session.
The virtual educator responded to audience queries in English, Hindi, Telugu and Tamil, offering evidence-based information on breast diseases, breast cancer, screening practices and early detection.
Alongside the record-setting achievement, the event witnessed the launch of NARI (National Awareness & Resource Initiative for Breast Health), an AI platform developed as a digital breast health educator.
Designed with clinical and ethical safeguards, NARI enables users to access round-the-clock breast health information and educational guidance irrespective of their location.
The platform supports interactions in multiple Indian languages and is intended to serve both urban and rural populations seeking reliable information on breast health.
According to the organisers, NARI has been developed to help address common barriers such as misinformation, fear and stigma associated with breast diseases.
By providing accessible and evidence-based responses, the AI platform seeks to empower individuals with knowledge and encourage informed healthcare decisions.
