Leading Indian medical equipment brand, BPL Medical Technologies, has launched the BPL Vent 300, a new ICU ventilator designed to support critical care teams in managing the respiratory needs of adult, pediatric, and infant patients.
The launch comes as hospitals across India continue to strengthen ICU preparedness, invest in patient monitoring, and expand access to reliable respiratory support systems.
Intended for use in Intensive Care Units (ICUs), High Dependency Units (HDUs), emergency departments, recovery centres, and step-down ICUs, the BPL Vent 300 combines advanced ventilation capabilities with a compact, clinician-friendly design.
Commenting on the launch, Dr. Shravan Subramanyam, Managing Director of BPL Medical Technologies, said, “Critical care teams today require equipment that can deliver precision, reliability, and ease of operation simultaneously. With the BPL Vent 300, we are further strengthening our critical care portfolio with a ventilator designed to support clinical decision-making while also improving usability for healthcare professionals working in high-pressure environments.”
The system is equipped with a high-performance turbine capable of delivering up to 240 L/min peak flow, allowing operation independent of a central gas supply. It features a 12.1-inch full-touch display, a lightweight build of around 9 kg, and supports invasive, non-invasive, and High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) ventilation modes for adult, pediatric, and infant patients.
The ventilator also integrates a range of clinical support tools, including lung protection and weaning assessment parameters such as P0.1, NIF, and RSBI. Additional features include dynamic lung monitoring, lung recruitment manoeuvre support, PV Tool tracing, integrated nebulization, and auto leakage compensation during NIV therapy.
To support hospital connectivity and uninterrupted care, the BPL Vent 300 offers WiFi, 4G, wired networking, HL7 protocol compatibility, USB data export, HDMI, RS232, nurse call interfaces, and an inbuilt lithium battery providing up to two hours of backup support during power interruptions. A 360-degree visual alarm system has also been incorporated to improve alarm visibility in busy ICU settings.
With the launch of the BPL Vent 300, BPL Medical Technologies is further strengthening its presence in the critical care segment while reinforcing its commitment to offering clinically relevant and technologically advanced healthcare solutions for modern hospitals.
