Aster DM Healthcare has appointed Varun Khanna as its Managing Director & Group Chief Executive Officer as part of a major board and leadership reconstitution following the amalgamation of Quality Care India Limited with Aster DM Healthcare Limited.

The changes, approved by the company's Board of Directors, came into effect on July 1, 2026, and are intended to align the governance and leadership structure of the merged healthcare entity.

Alongside Khanna's appointment, the board approved the induction of five new directors, subject to shareholder approval. The newly appointed directors are Neeraj Jain, Kewal Handa, V K Mathews, Ayshwarya Vikram, and Ganesh Mani.
