Apollo Hospitals to Add Over 5,800 Beds in Five Years as Q1FY27 Revenue Rises 21%

The expansion includes adding 148 beds to its existing facilities in Indore and Guwahati, along with four new hospitals in Indore, Dwarka, Delhi Proton Centre and Ranchi, together totaling 1,200 beds.

Apollo Hospitals plans to add over 5,800 beds to its network over the next five years, as the healthcare group reported a 21% year-on-year (YoY) increase in consolidated revenue to ₹7,043 crore in the first quarter of FY27.

The expansion includes adding 148 beds to its existing facilities in Indore and Guwahati, along with four new hospitals in Indore, Dwarka, Delhi Proton Centre and Ranchi, together totaling 1,200 beds.

This comes as Apollo Hospitals’ consolidated EBITDA grew 28% YoY to ₹1,092 crore, while consolidated profit after tax stood at ₹581 crore.

Apollo’s healthcare services arm reported a 22% YoY growth in revenue to ₹3,567 crore. EBITDA grew 20% YoY to ₹862 crore, while PAT was up 25% YoY to ₹480 crore.

As of June 30, 2026, Apollo Hospitals had 8,352 operating beds across the network, excluding its Apollo Health and Lifestyle Limited (AHLL) segment and managed beds. Overall occupancy stood at 70%, compared with 65% in Q1FY26.

The healthcare group’s AHLL segment reported 15% YoY growth in revenue to ₹499 crore. EBITDA stood at ₹59 crore, compared with ₹40 crore in Q1FY26. Under this vertical, diagnostics revenue stood at ₹200 crore and Spectra revenue at ₹80 crore. The segment reported a PAT loss of ₹1 crore during the quarter, compared with a PAT loss of ₹8 crore last year.

Apollo HealthCo reported a 20% YoY growth in revenue to ₹2,977 crore. EBITDA stood at ₹171 crore, up from ₹94 crore in Q1FY26, while PAT was ₹101 crore compared with ₹57 crore during the same period last year.

Apollo said the vertical continued to strengthen its omnichannel pharmacy and digital healthcare platform, with 151 net new stores added during the quarter, taking the network to 7,440 stores.
