Apexon & AWS Partner to Advance Agentic AI Solutions for Healthcare & Life Sciences

Through the integration of its AI technology capabilities with AWS’s purpose-built healthcare and life sciences infrastructure, the collaboration seeks to support the deployment of AI applications across clinical, commercial, and operational workflows.
Apexon, an AI-first technology services company, has signed a strategic collaboration agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to support the deployment of Agentic AI, cloud-native modernization, and full-stack digital engineering solutions for Healthcare and Life Sciences organizations.
The collaboration brings together Apexon’s AgentRise Agentic AI platform, engineering model, and proprietary accelerators, including CloudAlpha, PlatformAlpha, and TransformAlpha for cloud migration and modernization, and Genysys for rapid AI deployment on AWS.
Through the integration of its AI technology capabilities with AWS’s purpose-built healthcare and life sciences infrastructure, including Amazon HealthLake, Amazon Bedrock, and Amazon SageMaker, the collaboration seeks to support the deployment of AI applications across clinical, commercial, and operational workflows.
In addition, the collaboration will support migration of legacy workloads to a modern cloud environment by leveraging a delivery model designed to manage engineering, AI deployment, and infrastructure operations within a unified framework.
Under the agreement, Apexon and AWS will jointly develop and deploy domain-specific agentic AI solutions purpose-built for Life Sciences and Healthcare organizations across six priority areas, including research and development, where both companies will focus on accelerating drug discovery and compound analysis through AI-driven research workflows
For the clinical trials, the companies plan to optimize trial operations and reduce clinical document drafting time by up to 50 percent
In addition, the partnership will address commercial and medical Affairs by providing the field teams with AI-driven intelligence, shifting operations from administrative to support strategic decision making,
For the manufacturing and supply chain, the solutions are expected to enhance self-healing manufacturing processes through real-time agentic monitoring and response.
Additionally, the collaboration will support enterprise IT modernization by automating regulatory documentation workflows and upgrading core systems.
In healthcare modernisation, Apexon and AWS aim to help organisations transition their legacy infrastructure to cloud-native environments better equipped to support AI-driven applications and digital transformation initiatives.
As per reports, leading BioPharma organizations have validated that these capabilities demonstrated improved productivity across regulated workflows.
The initiative encompasses 20 use cases targeting key challenges across healthcare and life sciences, particularly in areas where traditional approaches have faced limitations. Apexon stated that organizations implementing its domain-specific agentic AI solutions have reported gains in productivity, faster innovation cycles, and enhanced operational agility.
The agreement builds on Apexon’s existing AWS competencies in Data and Analytics, Migration, Life Sciences, and DevOps. Through the expanded collaboration, the companies aim to combine cloud expertise, industry-specific knowledge, and agentic AI capabilities to support digital transformation efforts and help healthcare and life sciences organizations modernize their operations.
