The latest investment follows Graph AI’s $3 Mn seed round led by Bessemer Venture Partners in October 2025, taking the startup’s disclosed funding to about $16.3 Mn.

Graph AI, a CA-based AI-native healthcare technology startup, has raised $13.3 Mn in Series A funding to expand its AI Drug Safety Platform across the US and Europe.

The round, led by Insight Partners with participation from existing investor Bessemer Venture Partners, will support product development and the startup’s growing customer base.

Founded in 2024, Graph AI has focused on addressing manual workflows and operational complexity in pharmacovigilance, the process of detecting, assessing, and preventing adverse effects associated with medicines.

The startup’s platform, Graph Safety, is designed to automate parts of safety-case processing while retaining human oversight and regulatory traceability.

Graph AI said its platform has reduced the time required to process individual safety cases from more than three hours to less than 10 minutes in live deployments, while cutting operating costs by up to 66%.

The startup said the technology is intended to allow safety professionals to spend more time on analysis and decisions that require human expertise.

"Graph Safety gives safety experts an intelligent system that takes on operational complexity, while keeping traceability, accountability, and human oversight at the center. We are not replacing human judgment. We are building technology that allows experts to apply it where it matters most," said Raghav Parvataraju, CEO, Graph AI.

Graph Safety currently includes Intake, which captures and triages adverse-event reports, and Nucleus, which supports end-to-end safety-case processing.

Graph AI plans to launch Report, a module focused on aggregate safety reporting, this month. Its fourth module, Signal, is being developed to identify emerging safety patterns across cases, with design partners already involved.

The AI Drug Safety Platform has been developed with reference to regulatory requirements and emerging expectations around artificial intelligence in medicines development and patient safety.

Graph AI has cited the US Food and Drug Administration’s risk-based framework for assessing the credibility of AI models, the European Union’s AI Act and guidance from the Council for International Organizations of Medical Sciences.
