Gandhinagar’s Public Health Centre Introduces First AI-Powered Preventive Clinic
The new clinic, launched in collaboration with Eros Wellness, provides more than 30 health screenings supported by AI-driven diagnostics, with results generated in under five minutes.
Gandhinagar’s public health centre has introduced India’s first AI-powered preventive clinic, integrating rapid diagnostics and advanced screening tools to promote early detection and strengthen primary healthcare services at the community level.
The new clinic, launched by the Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation in collaboration with Eros Wellness, has been set up within an existing Ayushman Arogya Mandir. It is designed to provide more than 30 health screenings supported by AI-driven diagnostics, with results generated in under five minutes.
The initiative builds on India’s expanding focus on preventive healthcare through Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, which are being developed as comprehensive primary care hubs under the Ayushman Bharat programme.
These centres aim to shift healthcare delivery from reactive treatment to proactive wellness by offering screening, early diagnosis, and community-based interventions.
The integration of AI into such facilities reflects a broader push toward digital health innovation, where technologies like machine learning and predictive analytics are increasingly being used to identify health risks before symptoms appear.
“The launch of the Eros Wellness AI Clinic in Gandhinagar marks an important step toward building a healthier city through innovation. Integrating AI and preventive diagnostics into public healthcare infrastructure will empower citizens with early health awareness and strengthen grassroots healthcare delivery,” said Gandhinagar Mayor Meera Patel.
The developers of the clinic have positioned it as a scalable model that could extend beyond local deployment. “This is the launch of India’s first sovereign AI-powered preventive healthcare clinic, the inaugural node of a globally exportable health intelligence platform. At Eros Wellness, we believe longevity and wellness should be democratized for every citizen, in every country,” said Manju Lulla, founder of Eros Wellness
“The Eros Wellness AI Clinic is where sovereign AI, healthcare, and public infrastructure converge to create a smarter, healthier future — beginning in India and scaling globally across the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia, Europe, and beyond,” she added.
The facility operates with an existing care team that includes doctors, a nurse, a multipurpose health worker, a general duty assistant, an ASHA worker, and support staff, ensuring continuity with established primary healthcare services.
