Function Health has raised $450 million in growth financing from General Catalyst's Customer Value Fund to scale its technology-enabled personalized preventive health services. The investment comes eight months after the company closed a $298 million Series B funding round.

Founded in 2023, Function Health operates a membership-based platform that provides access to more than 160 biomarker laboratory tests. The company also offers MRI and CT imaging for early detection of conditions including cancer, aneurysms, strokes, and hundreds of other diseases through a network of more than 200 locations across the U.S.

According to the company, the platform is designed to combine laboratory testing, imaging, and personalized intelligence into a single system focused on lifelong health.

"Our mission is simple: enable you to live 100 healthy years. Everyone deserves to feel their best and avoid suffering," said Jonathan Swerdlin, co-founder and CEO of Function Health. "Every dollar invested in Function is a vote for one hundred healthy years for eight billion people. This growth financing allows us to pull the inevitable and optimistic future of health into the present."

The funding follows a series of acquisitions completed over the past 15 months as Function Health expands its preventive health infrastructure. In May 2025, the company acquired Ezra to integrate laboratory testing with AI-powered full-body scans. It later acquired mobile healthcare platform Getlabs to provide at-home and in-office blood draws, followed by the acquisition of nutritional supplement platform SuppCo.

Pranav Singhvi, Partner and Co-Head of Customer Value Fund at General Catalyst, said the investment reflects the firm's confidence in Function Health's long-term growth.

"This financing reflects our belief that Function is one of the defining companies of our generation," Singhvi said. "Function has created an entirely new approach to health that we have never had before. We believe Function is uniquely positioned to reach millions more people, and we're proud to support the next phase of its growth."

Function Health said the new financing will support the expansion of its platform, which integrates diagnostic testing, imaging, and personalized health intelligence into a single preventive healthcare experience.
