Delhi has welcomed its first dedicated multispecialty hospital exclusively focused on women’s healthcare with the launch of The Women’s Hospital (TWH).

Founded by Anika Parashar and her team, the hospital has received $5 million in investment from backers, including The Select Group and Policybazaar.

The hospital has been designed to address fragmented and episodic treatment by offering continuity of care through dedicated clinics spanning reproductive health, fertility, maternity, postpartum recovery, menopause, chronic disease management, oncology, mental health, aesthetics, and functional medicine.

The facility, spread across 30,000 sq ft, has been established to provide integrated healthcare services for women across all stages of life. The launch comes amid continuing gaps in women’s healthcare in India, where access to preventive and specialised services remains uneven.

This life-stage-based care model aims to bring multiple specialties under one system to support coordinated treatment and improved patient outcomes.

The Women’s Hospital has been developed as an integrated care centre with clinical services including gynaecology, obstetrics, IVF and reproductive medicine, neonatology, oncology, endocrinology, and physiotherapy.

The facility also incorporates advanced infrastructure such as robotic-assisted surgery, fetal medicine systems, and specialised operating suites. It houses 34 beds, including 12 neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) beds, along with modular operation theatres and delivery suites.

Speaking on the launch, Anika Parashar, Founder & CEO, The Women’s Hospital said, “TWH comes from a gap I have seen in over 25 years of working closely with women, families, doctors and healthcare teams. Women are often expected to care for everyone else, but when it comes to their own health, they are left to navigate fragmented systems, repeat their stories, delay care, or feel unheard. TWH has been built to change that. We want to create a healthcare home where a girl, a mother, a working woman, a woman in menopause, or an elderly woman can access specialised, preventive and holistic care without judgment.”

She added, “Every detail, from our clinical blueprint and life-stage clinics to the doctors, privacy, air quality and patient experience, has been designed to make women feel safer, supported, and more in control of their health.”

“Throughout our journey in hospitality and retail, we have always believed that the businesses that endure are those that genuinely serve people at their most human moments. The Women's Hospital is our most purposeful investment to date not just because of the scale of the unmet need, but because of the vision Anika and her team have brought to addressing it,” said Arjun Sharma, Chairman, The Select Group.
